September 23, 2023 [Industrielinqs]-LBC Tank Terminals will collaborate with Shell Chemicals in the port of Rotterdam for the storage of pyrolysis oil produced from waste plastic.

Shell has signed a five-year agreement with LBC for the storage of pyrolysis oil in the tank storage company’s Rotterdam terminal. Thanks to this storage location, the market for pyrolysis oil can grow, Shell says. It says it desperately needs the storage capacity to store and subsequently process pyrolysis oil from various suppliers. “This improves the flexibility of the value chain,” the company said.
