Visits
Visits is defined as the number of ships that arrive at a berth in a certain week. It is calculated based on ship tracking data. We focus on tankers only. Push boats and other ships that are not identified as tankers are excluded from the calculation.
In some cases AIS signal coverage may be poor and this may result in an understatement of the number of visits compared to reality. The information is based on various data sources and may be incomplete or inaccurate due to unforeseen reasons.
