Satellite data reportedly showed an LNG tanker at the terminal on September 2, with another nearby, both operating with transponders off. ADNOC has also used ship-to-ship transfers outside Hormuz to move LNG. However, regional LNG flows remain severely constrained, while ADNOC is accelerating a pipeline expansion to Fujairah to bypass the chokepoint.
