August 30, 2010 [TankTerminals.com] - The construction at CLH's oil storage facility in Cortes, Burgos province, is progressing, the company sources told the local newspaper Correo de Burgos.

The new terminal located on the 150,000 square meters land plot will consist of 14 tanks with a total storage capacity of 100,000 cubic meters for diesel and gasoline. Upon completion in 2011, the terminal is to replace the existing Burgos storage facility at Hospital del Rey. At the same time CLH is building an additional pipeline that would connect the existing Miranda-Burgos part to the new facility in Cortes. The project will require the investment of 29 million euros.
CLH (Compañía Logística de Hidrocarburos) is the Spanish leading company for the transportation and storage of oil products. Burgos is one of the CLH’s main distribution centres in northern Spain.
