August 5, 2011 [C1 Energy] - Dalian in Northeast China’s Liaoning province is expected to complete construction of a 300,000-DWT oil jetty in Changxing Island at the end of 2011, according to a source with Dalian Port Oil Terminal Co (transliteration).

“The oil jetty came under construction in March 2010, with construction scheduled to last about one year and a half,” said the source, who is an engineering director of this project.
This jetty is scheduled to be equipped with 4.2 mln m3 of tanks in the future, said the source.
Dalian Port Oil Terminal also plans to begin construction of a 100,000-DWT jetty in the first half of 2012, according to market sources.
C1 reported previously that Brightoil was constructing a large oil tank farm in Changxing Island, together with a 300,000-DWT jetty.
Dalian Port Oil Terminal is a subsidiary of Dalian Port Group, engaged in the shipping and storage of petroleum products and liquid chemical products
