Gulf Petrochem Group to Begin Bunkering Operations in Fujairah

May 7, 2015 [Gulf Petrochem Group] - Gulf Petrochem Group, the UAE based global bunker supplier, has today announced that it is now an officially licensed bunker supplier in the Port of Fujairah.


The licence, issued by the Port Of Fujairah authorities, comes into effect immediately and will bolster the groups offering as a major bunkering supplier in the UAE.

Operating out of Fujairah under name of GP Bunkering FZE, the group will now be able to provide its customers with the main grades such as RMG 380, RME 180, MGO DMA and LSMGO subject to availability.

The launch of supply operations in Fujairah will compliment Gulf Petrochem Group’s growing global footprint in bunker supply which to date includes Khor Fakkan and all other ports of the UAE, Gulf of Kutch, Indian ports of Kandla, Sikka and Vadinar.

Speaking of the developments at Fujairah, Prerit Goel said, “With our existing storage facilities in Fujairah and our ability to supply bunker fuel out of strategic locations across the globe, we are able to offer even more choice and flexibility to vessel owners. And with the addition of our bunker supply offering out of Fujairah, the second largest bunker port in the world, we continue to enhance our reputation and seamlessly complement our global expansion plans”.
