September 18, 2026 [LNG Industry]- LNG Alliance selected Technip Energies as enhanced project management consultant (ePMC) for the 6 Mtpa AMIGO LNG project in Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico. Technip Energies will oversee project management, engineering interfaces, construction management and independent project oversight. The project comprises two floating process barges—pre-treatment and liquefaction—and associated marine infrastructure, including a quad berth for two LNG carriers and two floating storage units (FSUs), plus berthing, mooring, utilities and export facilities.
