March 20, 2016 [TankTerminals.com & EasyFairs] - Companies are using the region’s only tank storage event, Tank World Expo 2016, which takes place on 12 & 13 April 2016 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, to launch new innovations and technologies to the Middle East and African markets.
Terminal managers, technicians, engineers and other tank storage professionals who attend the show will see innovations from right across the supply spectrum, from major names, including Emerson Process Management, Kanon Loading Equipment and Endress+Hauser through to the sector’s most innovative niche suppliers.
Knowsley SK will be displaying its latest foam mixing technology – the Turbinator. Designed to accurately mix foam concentrate liquid, with either freshwater or seawater, the Turbinator is suitable for use in fixed systems or mobile units. Its design makes it inherently self-priming, plus the gear type foam pump creates strong inlet suction, leading to a reliable and uninterrupted foam concentrate supply.
Arflu Industry Valves will be presenting its dual expanding plug valve. Easy to operate, this valve requires very little maintenance and offers a verifiable double block and bleed service, plus a long lifetime.
Climbex S.A. will be showcasing the fully automated mobile ORECO units for cleaning petroleum tanks, including decanter and disc separators. This system works in an inert atmosphere, constantly monitoring the levels of oxygen in a tank, stopping if the maximum permissible concentration level is exceeded. This ‘non-man’ entry cleaning reduces cleaning time by up to 80 per cent, shortens tank down-time, provides simultaneous sludge separation and increases oil recovery by up to 95 per cent.
Mascoat, the global leader in thermal insulating coatings, will be demonstrating its latest coating – the Mascoat Industrial-DTI. This multi-purpose coating solves insulating and corrosion under insulation issues. It is capable of thermally insulating up to 375°F, so can be deployed in specialist situations, on all types of substrates.
Fort Vale will demonstrate its MK3 Safeload semi-automatic bottom loading coupler, with extended ‘wrap around’ trigger design that follows the profile of the loading adaptor, covering over 60% of the adaptor circumference.
Online registration is open; visitors can register to attend the exhibition for free online at www.tankworldexpo.com. For more information on exhibiting or becoming a media partner, please contact Event Manager Nick Powell on +44 (0)20 8843 8801 or at nick@stocexpo.com.
