“The volume of maximum one-time storage of vegetable oil at a new terminal makes up 52,000 tonnes. The rated industrial capacity of transshipment is 600,000 tonnes of oil a year.

The terminal is able to carry out simultaneous cargo receipt from automobiles from six posts of the truck unloading area, which enables reaching the daily receipt of 120 automobiles or up to 3,500 tonnes of gross mass,” a statement reads.

According to Risoil South director Mykola Bolhar, the railway cargo receipt enables to handle 25 railway tanks a day, which is 1,500 tonnes of vegetable oil. Shipment of oil to sea ships is carried at 22 berths of LLC TIS KT with capacity reaching 600 tonnes an hour.

Additionally, 65 working places were created. Before LLC Risoil South reached full capacity, the amount of paid up taxes and duties will reach UAH 1 million a year.

Cost of invested private funds made up UAH 110 million.

Bolhar also noted that this same day on the territory of LLC TIS a ceremonious opening of the railway sidetrack for 12 km was held. Within the frames of the state-private partnership, LLC Transinvestservice (LLC TIS) jointly with the Odesa Railways completed the construction project of the railway sidetrack for 12 km on the trackside of 5 km – 18 km of the Chornomorska-Berehova section.

“The project implementation will enable increasing the number of train pairs on this sector from 32 to 44 a day, which will lead to additional traffic up to 15 million tons a year to such enterprises on the territory of the commercial seaport Pivdenny as SE Commercial Seaport Pivdenny, LLC TIS, PJSC Odesa Portside Plant, LLC Borivazh, etc., “ he noted.

Construction of the railway trackside for 12 km was carried out by the Odesa Railways with full funding at the expense of private investments of the company LLC TIS to the amount of UAH 24 million.
