New Terminal on the Lower Mississippi: Pin Oak Terminals

April 1, 2015 [Pin Oak Holdings, LLC] - Pin Oak Holdings announced today it will be constructing a new liquid and chemicals storage terminal on 431 acres along the Mississippi River in Mt. Airy, Louisiana. It will offer complete optionality through rail, ship, pipeline and truck access to the crude, refined product, and chemical industries.


Pin Oak Holdings, LLC also announced today that Mike Reedhas been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Company, effective immediately. Mr. Reed joins Pin Oak after a 25+ year career in the midstream business and recently held the post of President, LBC Americas. Mr. Reed has an extensive background developing and managing terminal businesses and will be responsible for leading Pin Oak through its construction, operations, and growth stages.

Commenting on his arrival to Pin Oak, Mr. Reed said to TankTerminals.com “Pin Oak is located at an ideal location and will be a premier destination on the Mississippi River. We expect to provide ample solutions to our customers by providing an array of logistics solutions and superior customer service while maintaining the strictest safety standards in the business.”

The terminal will be located at mile marker 144.1 in Mt. Airy, Louisiana (neighboring Garyville, Louisiana) on the Mississippi River and is fully permitted to construct up to 10 million barrels of storage of crude oil, refined products, chemicals, etc.
