Parker Hannifin Completes Acquisition of Filtration Group Corporation
08.14.2026 By Tank Terminals - NEWS

August 14, 2026 [Storage Terminals Magazine]- Parker Hannifin Corporation has completed its previously announced acquisition of Filtration Group Corporation, marking another step in the company’s ongoing portfolio transformation.

The acquisition brings Filtration Group Corporation’s range of engineered filtration technologies and aftermarket capabilities into Parker’s portfolio, strengthening its offering across key growth markets including life sciences, HVAC/R, and in-plant and industrial applications.

Parker Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jenny Parmentier said the combination creates a complementary portfolio of filtration technologies and expands the company’s aftermarket presence globally. The acquisition is also expected to support earnings-per-share growth and create additional shareholder value under Parker’s Win Strategy.

Filtration Group Corporation has a portfolio of established product brands that are validated, specified and, in many cases, sole-sourced by customers. Parker said these capabilities complement its existing interconnected technology portfolio while increasing its exposure to aftermarket opportunities and recurring revenues across multiple product platforms.

Matt Jacobson, president of Parker’s Filtration Group, said the acquisition brings together two businesses with a shared focus on developing filtration solutions designed to protect and purify products and processes for customers worldwide.

Under the terms of the transaction, Filtration Group Corporation is expected to contribute approximately $1.8 billion to Parker’s fiscal 2027 sales during the first 10.5 months of ownership. Approximately 60 percent of those sales are expected to come from Parker’s Diversified Industrial Segment North America businesses, with the remaining 40 percent generated by its international operations.

Parker expects the acquisition to be neutral to adjusted earnings per share during the first quarter of fiscal 2027 before becoming accretive to adjusted EPS for the full fiscal year.

The company also estimates that the acquisition will generate approximately $220 million in pre-tax cost synergies by the end of the third year following completion.
