March 17, 2016 [Pengerang Terminals Sdn Bhd] - Pengerang Independent Terminals Sdn Bhd (PITSB) today receives the 500th vessel with the arrival of MT British Vine since the terminal’s commissioning in April 2014.

Mr Law Say Huat, PITSB CEO said, “We are delighted with the arrival of our 500th vessel safely at our terminal to discharge crude oil. Since the commencement of our operations, we have been receiving various sizes of vessels from barges to several Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCC) for both clean petroleum and crude oil storage to serve our customers for their trading activities or their structural supply chain system,”.

He further commented, “This achievement is only possible with the close support and cooperation from our customers, relevant authorities and service providers. With a natural draft of 24 metres and strategically located along one of the busiest shipping lanes between Middle East and Asia, our terminal is capable and flexible to cater for vessels up to VLCCs, either for clean petroleum products or crude. We will continue to listen, innovate and work with customers in our journey towards our vision – to be the safest terminal with exceptional services,”
