November 29, 2021 [bnamericas] – Peru’s national oil company Petroperú has chosen an operator for its southern fuel port terminals in Pisco (pictured), Ilo and Mollendo, and inland fuel depots in Cusco and Juliaca.

In an abbreviated award contracting process, the NOC selected Servosa Cargo for the 1,095-day contract.

Servosa bid 29.5mn soles (US$7.4mn) and the other participant, Trabajos Maritimos, offered 34.8mn soles. The reference budget was 37mn soles.

BNamericas previously reported Petroperú’s plans to procure an operator for the terminals which boast combined storage capacity of around 1Mb (million barrels).

Following a call that fell through in 2019, the NOC took over operation of the terminals that year from Consorcio Terminales (Graña y Montero Petrolero-Oiltanking Perú) when the consortium’s contract expired.
