September 23, 2026 [Storage Terminals Magazine]- Phillips 66 Limited has reached a significant milestone in the phased integration of its Lindsey assets into the wider Phillips 66 UK business, with rail movements of product from Lindsey Rail Loading to the Warwickshire Oil Storage Terminal (WOSL) beginning on Wednesday 9th September.
The first petrol and diesel sales over the racks at the Killingholme Road Loading (KRL) terminal followed on Thursday 10th September.
The range of products, additives, customers and volumes supported through KRL is expected to build progressively over the coming weeks and months. During the early stages of integration, volumes will be optimised across the wider network, providing a platform for future growth as additional capabilities come online.
The integration of the Lindsey infrastructure with the Humber Refinery is expected to increase capacity, flexibility and inland supply options across the UK network. The combined infrastructure is also intended to strengthen supply resilience and support the efficient storage, transportation and delivery of products.
The initial capabilities have been brought into operation following a collaborative programme across Phillips 66, involving detailed preparation, due diligence and recommissioning work after the completion of the Lindsey acquisition in April.
The integration is being progressed in phases. Further developments include the continued expansion of KRL capabilities, the planned reopening of the Phillips 66 Jarrow terminal in the North East of England, and the eventual return of the Finaline to operation.
Further updates are expected as dates and operational details are confirmed.
