09.17.2021 By Ricardo Perez - NEWS

September 17, 2021 [stolt-nielsen] – Stolthaven Terminals and Revivegen Environmental Technology Co. LTD have signed a letter of intent to jointly develop a new greenfield terminal in Kaohsiung Port, Taiwan. Following Revivegen’s successful award of a land lease at the port, the two companies are currently working on a comprehensive feasibility study.

Stolthaven Terminal’s interest in the new JV is driven by growing customer demand for high-quality bulk liquid storage in the region. A final investment decision is expected in the fourth quarter of 2021, subject to final internal and external approvals.

Guy Bessant, President Stolthaven Terminals commented: “The terminal will focus on the safe and efficient handling and storage of chemicals and industrial gases for local and multinational companies, including those with manufacturing operations in Taiwan. A terminal in Taiwan would be complimentary to our existing global network and increase the reach of the supply chain solutions that we are able to offer our customers.”
