September 22, 2026 [Offshore Technology]- TC Energy has agreed to sell its entire stake in Energia Occidente de Mexico, owner of the 313km Guadalajara-Manzanillo natural gas pipeline in Mexico, to ESENTIA Energy Development for $400m (C$560m). The pipeline connects the LNG Manzanillo terminal with Guadalajara and national gas networks. Completion is expected in H1 2027, subject to approvals. ESENTIA will integrate the pipeline into its existing infrastructure, strengthening its cross-border network, while TC Energy will retain about 3,300km of other Mexican gas pipelines with 8.7bcf/d capacity.
