August 27, 2026 [Storage Terminals Magazine]- MAIRE has announced new awards and additional works related to previously awarded contracts within its Integrated E&C Solutions (IE&CS) business unit, with a combined value of approximately €110 million.
The projects are located across South America, Europe and Asia and further strengthen MAIRE’s position in gas monetisation and liquefied natural gas (LNG) infrastructure.
As part of the awards, Tecnimont has secured an early engineering contract supporting a large-scale gas monetisation initiative in South America. The scope includes engineering activities required to establish the project’s technical framework and prepare it for subsequent development phases.
Subject to a Final Investment Decision, the project is expected to progress to the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) phase, extending Tecnimont’s involvement across the project lifecycle. The planned facility will form a key part of the midstream infrastructure required to process natural gas before its liquefaction and export to international LNG markets.
In Asia, Tecnimont has also been selected by a Tier-1 client to carry out Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) for an LNG plant. The award further strengthens the company’s position in the strategic LNG engineering market.
Alessandro Bernini, CEO of MAIRE, said the new awards would support strategic initiatives while strengthening the company’s position in gas monetisation, particularly in the LNG segment, and further expanding its presence in South America.
