September 09, 2026 [Storage Terminals Magazine]- Tepsa has appointed Xavier Folch as deputy CEO, with the new role taking effect on September 15th. Folch will also join the Tepsa Group Management Committee and serve as a statutory director of the company.

The appointment comes as Tepsa continues to expand its infrastructure network and strengthen its presence in the liquid bulk storage sector. The company said the addition of experienced leadership is intended to support its growth strategy and respond to changing customer requirements.

Folch brings 30 years of experience in the energy sector, with expertise spanning industrial operations, infrastructure management and business development. He is also experienced in the midstream sector in France and across Europe.

A graduate of École des Mines de Paris, Folch began his career at ExxonMobil in 1995. During his time with the company, he held a range of technical, logistics and supply positions and developed international experience across France, the Benelux, Italy, Africa and the United States.

In 2023, Folch was appointed CEO of Trapil, the French petroleum products pipeline operator.

Tepsa CEO Bruno Hayem said Folch’s international experience and operational expertise would support the company as it pursues growth opportunities across its markets.

The appointment also comes as the liquid bulk storage industry undergoes changes linked to evolving energy markets and the energy transition. Tepsa said it remains focused on investing in its assets, improving operational performance and developing infrastructure to meet future customer requirements.

According to the company, Folch’s appointment is expected to support the next phase of Tepsa’s development as it expands its infrastructure capabilities and explores new opportunities across the European energy and logistics markets.
