The Formation of Third Coast International Qatar

October 29, 2012 [Third Coast International] - Third Coast International (TCI) is pleased to announce the formation of Third Coast International Qatar (TCIQ). TCIQ is a joint venture between Third Coast International and a local Qatari partner.


The company has been established to provide chemical storage and manufacturing services in the State of Qatar and the wider Middle East and Africa region.

TCIQ will have operations within the Mesaieed Industrial City. The facility will have in excess of 10,000 m³ of storage capacity and up to 45,000 tonnes of production capacity. Construction will be in phases with 28 storage tanks planned for the first phase.

The site is pipeline connected to the deep water port and will be operational in 2013.

Jim Clawson (Founder and Owner of TCI) stated “We are delighted to have this opportunity to invest in the State of Qatar and extend our service offering to our global customers. This represents a significant first step in our plans for Qatar and the wider Middle East region.”
